Over a hundred thousand Covid related deaths in the US alone mate - I wouldn't dishonour the memory of those who have died by calling it a hoax.

It is unfortunately driven a political kaleidoscope with many politicians pulling and pushing the whole pandemic for their own cause. It's real, thousands have died. It's like the holocaust deniers.

My goto filter is a variable ND filter from freewill.  I have the Polar pros but the freewill is just as good and you can rotate to just the strength.

How do you go about when the lighting situation changes in flight?
Do you fly back and dial in the desired density, or just leave it as is?

Sadly you have to land and rotate it,  but its a lot quicker than swapping the whole filter.

The problems with the set Billie has is that 2 of the 4 are already in the Fly More combo. The third one, ND 32, is really not too useful. The sun would need to be so bright to use that for normal flying which means you are only using it for photo time lapse, at which point the ND64 will be fine. And the biggest problem is, ND8 is too strong for many days.

I bought the 6 filter set from F-Stop at Amazon and all of them except for one is not something I already have. On top of that, they are cheaper than the 4 filter set in the video. And on top of that, 1/2 of them are polarizer. I've been using them for a week now and I'm very happy with them. The ND4 gets used slightly more than the ND8.  Check them out here: F-Stop Filter Set

I think you ram the ISO up so that you can fly and then drop it for the long exposure.

If I understand your response, if you are using something like the ND32 and greater, it's going to be too dark to fly. I hadn't really thought about that because I haven't got to the spot where I'd like a long exposure yet but that is a super point.

My point though, only on Billie's set is, it's $50 or so and 1/2 of it is overlap if you have the Fly Combo. In addition, ND8 is great for sunny days, but early mornings, late afternoon, and partly to completely cloudy days will want an ND4. The F-Stop 6 filter set with only 1 overlapping filter is $40!

Whatever you do though, don't get the Freewell 3 filter Gradient set. It is horrible! The lowest filter is an ND8 but it's really more like an ND2, maybe ND 2.5 to ND3 (yes, I know that's not a thing but it's definitely not the strength of an ND4). The set is virtually useless. because you get 1 stop between the tip top of the frame and the middle. It's just not enough to do anything worth $70.
