Hi everyone, here's a pano from one of my flights today.  The Ottawa river is one of the boundaries which forms the border between Canada's two most populace provinces (like states) Ontario, and Quebec.  This pano is in an area about 45 minutes from where I live, it was a nice day for a drive, I also visited a lake or two ... more on that later.

Thanks.  I was zooming out on that pano and it suddenly struck me, if you look west away from the river, you can almost imagine that it is one giant lawn....  as far as you can see!  Anyway, no lack of oxygen producing foliage here!

Thats enough to fuel a country (with oxygen) - probably more trees in that shot than the whole of Greater London!

Indeed, in fact, I would guess several counties.  Its massive.  From where I was situated, you could as the crow (or really awesome drone) flies, travel for about 50 miles west before it broke back into farm  country, even more so north/south.  Then again, all of northern Canada is like this up to the tree line.  In our western provinces it is further north, but we are a land of forests mostly.  I met some really nice German tourists here a while back, they live in the Black Forest area (Bavaria?) and said that they were love Canada because it is endless, over there, they are encroaching on the woods as time passes.

I just fired up Google Earth, you could cover Surrey and Sussex with that forest completely.  Those were the two counties I "hung out" in when we lived over there.  Home was Woking.
