... a flightpath shown starting on the Equator, west of Africa, @ "null island"
Two things I would like to ask questions to other pilots AND DJI, please:

1.  Yesterday  I did one flight, starting the bird before it had the HP set.
Like I do that often, in case my position is a bit shaded.
The HP get set in the air just above/near  my position.
And the flight record shows this flight starting at "null island".
I have a couple of these, showing a blue line from null island to HP.
But, of course, starting in time/distance, from HP
So nothing to be concerned about, but it is a wrong picture on the map!



2. This same flight I have a split in the flight record, making 2 (two) records out of the one flight.
And I had no chance, to land in between ;-)

I think, I have not had this split into 2 records for one flight before, at least not recognised, but I will look into it.
Might explain why fly app is telling me "wrong" higher numbers, sometimes, about "flights not uploaded"

Anyone else has similarities?

As for the apparent location in the Gulf of Guinea, that is what happens when there is no GPS data and it defaults to Latitude 0 degrees and Longitude 0 degrees. I see that all the time on my boat's GPS nav unit  before it locks enough satillites.

The question just is:
Does we really need to have a line from "null island" to the homepoint?

The split of flight records seems to happen in case of auto RTH b/c of no RC/bird connection  or a RC disconnection just for some seconds. (Weak signal, adjust antenna,......)

I can't recall that to happen in Go4, but I just may not have seen it.



The flight record starting at null island, however, is in my records always happening in case of HP is set mid air.
