The Wyrebank marina for canal barges, on the Lancaster canal near Garstang, is a nice spot
for a walk along the towpath opposite. The Mavic PP appreciated the view, too.

And a couple of hundred metres south is the Wyre Aqueduct, which carries the canal OVER the river Wyre.

Same here. We've been down to the lake (500 metres) and back and we're exhausted. Too hot and humid to do anything but head for the fridge
