Wow lots of updates good job.

All updated - including my extra 3 batteries - thanks DJI - this is a great update. Time to fly the MA2 and test it!

Haven’t tried improvements for hyperlapse or APAS . No app crashes on iOS .

How come the update does not show up when I start my drone.  I am currently running version .0250 and when I check updates, it says I don't have any updates.

Check your internet connection of your mobile device or try DJI Assistant 2 to check

Great update, but please DJI, fix the application faster, please give us the option to shoot only in the row, we do not need duplication with jpg, add the option to save the panoramas in the row in a separate folder, we do not want the application to collect them itself  in jpeg format, if possible even make each flight and shoot to be saved in a separate folder as with cameras.  much more organized and it will be easy to understand which photos are from which day. Thank you in advance, hopefully soon we will see these small but significant changes in the application, because they are in the old application and it is unpleasant when you find out that in the new they are not, but you are used to them.

The last 2 updates also included battery updates. No mention in the release notes. Does this fix the melting battery issue?

increased the number of waypoints to 45

Is this correct? 45 sound to much. When I do 5 WP battery  is less that 30%.

Hello DJI, thank you for the great update so far, but as mostly ever, there are a few issues with it! ;-)
Pleas please place the zoombutton not directly behind the record button because we are all great men with big fingers and today i allways press the record button instead of the zoom button or both.

It is not a good idea for professional shooting if you press the rec button while you whould not.
Please make it possible to assign the custom button for that.

A really handy feature would be if you make an instandly zoom from 100% to 200% not 1x and 2x, a real zoom while press and hold the f1 button would be a nice catch. :-)
And please please, do not forget the custom settings for sharpness eg.

On Android, i have got 3-4 times total lost of connection RC -  Air2 at the start. And takes about 1-2 secs to return.

Use the alternative zoom control of holding the FN button down & the Gimbal wheel becomes your zoom control

Hold down FN and use the gimbal control to zoom.

Is the 4k zoom output still in 4k or is it cropped down?

Well it couldn't be optical as there's no moving optical element.

But the sensor is actually 8000px wide, and 4k only needs 3840px. So it depends how it's done, it could be done by utilising the individual pixels and just using the centre of the sensor to deliver a zoomed in 4k image with no real loss in resolution. Rather than it being a simple crop.

Thank you for the updates. I like the zoom feature and effort of DJI to improve their product.

Based on what I've seen in the quality of the x2 4K zoom compared to x1 I think you hit the nail on the head.

Can someone help me with these errors? After updating to the latest firmware, I couldn't fly longer than a few meters, and after landing I have these errors

Have you tried calibrating the compass, and was this problem at night?

I cannot press on start to calibrate the compass. I tried day/night, refresh firmware with dji assistant 2, without success/

How do you upgrade the batteries?

The first battery will be automatically updated with the drone. Once complete, turn the drone off and replace the battery then reboot the drone. Leave the home page of the fly app open once reconnected to the remote (picture of the drone on it) then you'll see a pop up telling you to upgrade the battery firmware to be consistent with the drone for safety purposes. Tap upgrade and the batteries firmware will be installed. Repeat the process for all of your additional batteries. It can take several seconds for the update reminder to pop up in the app and the battery firmware takes about a minute to complete per battery.

Is the new zoom feature just a crop on the 4K? Or does it work how the 48mp photo workes using the quad Beyer thing giving it higher resolution?   Basically just want to know if I’m using the 4K zoom,  am I going to lose resolution when zoomed in?

In the new update 4x zoom is great but why did they not put that on to the photo feature aswell as the video I can’t see why that wasn’t done I would love that on the photo feature come on dji it can’t be that hard to do hopefully in the next update please
