I updated my MA2 firmware via the latest version of DJI Fly (v1.1.6 ) on my iPhone 6s plus, not  DJI Assistant.
I am wondering if I did the wrong way to update my MA2 firmware or not.

Limitations ( After updated Mavic Air 2 firmware to v0340 and updated DJI Fly to v1.1.6)

1. Zoom function doesn't work with HDR mode.
2. If used "Brake" mode of Obstacle Avoidance on DJI Flay (v1.1.6), MA2 controller left / right functon would be disable.


* It would be running a high risk to lost control of left/right function after using  "Brake" or "Bypass mode of Obstacle Avoidance

I always update the firmware from my iPhone,  so far no issues.

When new firmware is released I delete the app, ensure my phone is on the latest iOS firmware then reinstall the latest version of the app on my iPhone. Then I turn the drone on and update the drone/RC firmware via the app before syncing the batteries firmware with it. I only ever update/refresh on Assistant 2 if I experience glitches when flying the drone (yet to on the MA2).

I  never use the Assistant for updates. Always Wifi.

I often use DJI Assistant for firmware upgrade or downgrade if necessary.
