Had this error message today on my mavic pro whilst flying my second battery.

Altitude above the takeoff point exceeds 0m . Always fly in compliance with altitude limitations.


It was hot in the UK , battery temperature was 50C.


The location was the same place as I flew with the first battery without any error messages.


Hope someone can help.

I suspect it was overheating at 50c.

M2P here but the hot weather has been affecting it,  shorter battery life, and some odd sensors being triggered for no reason.  

My MA2 batteries hit 55c yesterday - no error messages popped up but that can't be good for them. Temperatures due to drop this weekend and back to low 20's next week.

Mavic Mini seems the most stable with the current temperatures but cannot see it beyond 100M in the sunshine , needs a paint job

Hi. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused. With regards to this concern. Since the recommended operating temperature is between 0°C to 40°C for the DJI Mavic Pro, as DAFlys advised at post #2 the temperature on the surrounding may affect the performance of the said drone. Please try flying the drone in a different location within the operating temperature. Please keep us posted for further assistance. Thank you.

DJI may try to attatch cooling rips to their batteries.  Fun by side.  Mavics should fly with out the cam protector for getting fresh air in to the front.

The Mavic's from the M2P onward should not even be turned on with the gimbal protector attached.
