More Canada...  Here's a follow up to the pano posted a few days back.  This one has me really loving my Mavic Air 2.  The river separates two of our biggest provinces, Ontario and Quebec, at at this point where I flew, its 1500 feet or 450 meters wide... very large.  You can see the elevation differece a Quebec is on the high side of the rift which has created the Laurentian Mountains.  Near the end are views of the TransCanada Highway alongside the river.  Hope you enjoy.

Thanks, now that's an interesting comment,one could almost say one is English and one is French...  but thats just silly. There is a political divide for sure.  Depends who you ask too!

Its all Boreal or Taiga however, and the geology is not too different.  Next time, I may brave the rise up that face and show off the even vaster expanse of forest... there is nothing in Western Quebec except mining and forestry, and its very spread out.

I can imagine divide causing a stir but the but the whole area is indeed Canadian a looks beautiful

Not much fuss about that lately, we are preoccupied with the virus as is everyone.  Its great to have the drone escapes... very good for the mental health.

That is the main reason I came back to the hobby in May - the MA2 could not have been released at a better time to help handle this awful pandemic!

In this area, the forests go on for hundreds of kilometers in some directions... its truly wilderness once you get away from the roads and rivers.
