Thanks Woe. In the top RH corner of the pic you can see a tower.  It's at the Daresbury Atomic Research Laboratory.   A quantum leap from the literature of the 19th Century to the studies of the 21st Century, eh?  I wonder what Lewis Carroll would make of that

Well, as a native, you would, of course.  When I say I'm going HOME,  That's France for me now, after so many years.  England still feels like a holiday destination.

I remember moving to Finland that it took some months before feeling home. (I only stayed 6 months) but after 3 or 4 months it was really like 'home'.
