Well, yes we did used to have that reputation.  On this line the only problem was getting a seat,  at the moment its barely being used.  This is the carpark from Friday,  usually this would be full.

Yes it does have spare capacity doesn't it.  Mind you, many people are abroad on holiday just now.

Funny story years ago when steam trains used this line they would regular set fire to the crop with sparks from the engine.

That is quite common indeed.
They even have special walls for that in Sweden.
To prevent the fire from spreading.

And it still happens.
Look at this video I shot a while ago.
The fire starts when the engine leaves, but you can see it at 3:56 behind the train.

Interesting.  I thought they'd mostly fixed it by changing the design of the chimney.

I'm not very well informed on the steam engines, but this one actually started not from the chimney but from somewhere underneath the train.
I was standing next to it when it happened.
(had to leave the drone hanging in the air to put it down)
