why can we not buy 1345 Self Tightening Props for Inspire 1

Probably because DJI have seen a issue with them and replaced them with the e800 quick release props as a fix.

GB44 is correct. The self tightening alone did not work with the fast-braking motors (props could fly off) and the prop locks were clumsy and if not installed correctly, ineffective . So DJI switched to the quick release props. Lots of folks still have self tightening props and locks so if you really want them you may want to ask if someone is willing to sell you a set.

Thank you for the info.  I purchased mine from Amazon because I didn't want to use paypal.  (paypal scares the @#$% out of me.)  The box says B on it but I got 6 quick release props but I have not used them yet.  The self tightening with locks seemed fine to me but maybe I should switch.  I would make it easier to use the travel case.

Whoever you bought your Inspire from should be giving you a set of quick release adapters for free and three free pairs of props. The dealers were given them by DJI to give to their customers. Insist to your dealer that they supply them to you.

Are you sure about this? That Dji are giving quick release props?

I still use self tightening props. - I believe the issues deal with the braking as mentioned above - you can adjust that in the app though
