Has anyone replaced/removed the nose cone?

I cracked mine, bought a repalcement, but before I started taking things apart was wondering if anyone has experience with this?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

I haven't cracked it, but I did remove it to do some cleaning. It is fairly simple, there are six screws that you have to remove to take off the cone.

Thanks for the quick reply.  The four obvious screws I found.  Do I need to remove the gimble to find the other two?
