[size=14.6666669845581px]hey guys. got my phantom 3 pro in a few days ago, I'm blessed to live in maine where we have some pretty fantastic sights. here are a few stills I took the other day out at portland head light. this is a spot that been shot to death from every angle on the ground, I wanted to see what I came up with from completely different vantage points.

thanks for the feedback, I'm a career sailor so I sail by the headlight almost daily, it was fun to see it and shoot from such a different vantage point. the bird has been functioning perfectly. did the firmware update today so I'm going to hold off on flying over water for a few days at least, wanna make sure the firmware isn't acting up, I did do a test flight in the park across from my house and all seems normal.

I have a wounded bird (Tree grabbed it), and have up-dated the firmware on it with mixed results. The gimbal has some issues pre-dating the up-grade (unable to keep a level horizon), and now my pictures are fuzzy, videos are choppy, and it is claiming the gimbal is overloaded. Done all the things the forum says to correct these issues, but to no avail unfortunately.
I have ordered a new bird, it has been 10 days and DJI hasn't sent it yet. So I await - patiently. Having the wounded one repaired means having no bird all summer, and I am too spoiled to allow that.
I live on Pleasant Bay on Cape Cod, and the flying around here is wonderful with vistas from above that were unimaginable before the Phantom was available.  
I can only imagine launching at Tenant's Harbor and videoing the scenes there. One of our favorite places in the world.

I guess I got lucky, 3 flights in 2 of them in fairly gusty wind and all seems to be in good order after the update, photos and video appear to be fine, gulls are one of those things that really worry me.

Nice pictures man, what camera settings were you using?

I have been wanting to get out the Portland Head....

Please note that I think you are right in the flight path for PWM at that location.  Certainly within 5 miles I think.  Be safe.
