Brand new to Drones...Im in process if purchasing a new Ipad for home. Want to make sure its compatible with a new Mavic Air 2.  Do I need to have wifi or cellular on Ipad for it to work with controller?  If so, which do i need?  I rather not have cellular but if have to will.

Any issues or limitations with using an Ipad?

Wifi iPad will work fine. The main reason for cellular data is to update your home point for the Return To Home feature if you move from the original take-off location.

If you go wifi only make sure you unlock before you set off or use a phone as a hotspot when you want to unlock.
