Hi Phantom 1 owners,

Does anybody know where I can find the date of manufacture of my Phantom 1. I bought it new from Kogan but I can only find Serial Number on the phantom and no information anywhere on date of manufacture.

My insurer is requesting this information.

Well... sorta.  There is a label on the box that has a "Date code"  Unfortunately it is in some super secret DJI code that is not readily apparent to us mere mortals.  I haven't seen where they are offering any secret decoder rings for sale but if it helps I bought mine in Feb of 2014.

Thanks very much Gil. Yeah, that is handy isn't it. I e-mailed DJI and they got back to me. Mine was built in October 2014. ;)
