I'm surprised that nobody is talking about this! I've been all over OsitaLV's Twitter recently just because I need a new gimbal, and I'm undecided between the Ronin S and SC... and now leaks about the new Ronin are out: https://twitter.com/OsitaLV/status/1296458279695134726

I'd love to get a thread going about this.


I have a Sony mirrorless setup with FF lenses, so I'm not sure about the Ronin S since its 2 years old and heavy, but then I worry about the small camera clearance with the SC. The Ronin S2 could solve the issue, but maybe at a price. So then, maybe another price drop on the Ronin S?

What do you think about this?

Funny you just posted this thread. I was also searching for more info on the s2. The S is too cumbersome to carry and the SC is useless for my needs with heavier lenses. S2 seems to have it all. Dji please release this asap! It's been too long of a wait for a real S upgrade.

@OsitaLV on Twitter already leaked photos of it. Seems like a Ronin S2 which is lighter (due to carbon fiber being used) and has stronger motors.
