The batteries for my Mavic Air 2 discharge by about 25% over a couple of weeks when not in use.  This happens regardless of whether the battrues are left in the Mavic or seperately.  They charge and work normally.

Hi JohnF39, it is normal, to prevent swelling, the battery has the auto-discharging function. Please check the battery level and charge the battery before using it again. For more information about the battery feature, kindly please check the user manual: https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/ ... Manual_v1.2_en_.pdf, thanks.

Thanks DJI Natalia, glad to know. Interesting feature - trap for young players .  Never heard of a laptop battery needing to auto-discharge.

You're most welcome. By the way, please note that never over-discharge the battery, as this may lead to battery cell damage. The battery life may be reduced if not used for a long time, fully charge and discharge the battery at least once every 3 months to maintain battery health is recommended.
