Folks.
In Brazil the sun is strong 8 months a year.
My footage is clear, how do I darken it?
I didn't find it in the APP.
Thank you

The EV scale near the lower right corner of the app.  Some people also use ND filters to reduce the light into the lens.

I'm sorry, but this is a misleading absurd. OP want to know how to adjust the exposure, not to reduce the amount of light thrown on sensor...

Turn the exposure level down. Bottom right of screen. Also bring up your histogram to make sure you have highlights and shadows balanced.

Yes, with the recent changes to the app, you can manually adjust the exposure value in the controller menu. No need to buy filters....just yet ;-)

Hello there ESchimidt. Thank you for reaching out and for reaching out. As 22340179 posted on post #8. Kindly please lower the exposure level down on the DJI Fly application to see if there will be some changes on your DJI Mavic Mini photos. Thank you.

All it takes is to use the appropriate exposure settings when you use the camera.
You cannot fix overexposed video.

Ignore the folks suggesting ND filters because they have no idea what they are talking about.

Or switch to manual mode and get the ISO down and a short shutter time.

ND filters have their justification. Instead of dismissing them outright without giving any reason, let's look at what the EV setting is doing. The only way you can darken the exposure this way is via the ISO level (which only goes down so far) and finally the shutter time.

But many people don't like the way videos look with very short shutter times, because even in low level flight or fast camera movements, there will then be no visible motion blur (which the human brain expects in certain situations). This gives a very unnatural feel to those videos. To be able to have shutter speeds near twice the frame rate (advocated by many as a good choice if you want natural looking motion blur), you can then use ND filters.

If you don't care about motion blur and just want to get the exposure down a notch or two (it's easier in post production to lighten it up again than to restore overexposed footage ;-) ), by all means use the manual exposure feature settings or the EV correction in auto mode.

But ND filters have their legitimate use.
