I can't seem to find out how drones messure the distance to the ground.
I'm looking to buy a Phantom 4 RTK, but i need to figure out if it messure the distance to the surface/ground in each picture it takes, and puts it in the data(if yes, how?). or if it needs to be proccesed in 3rd party software.
From what I have known the only flight data stored in the EXIF data is the GPS coordinates. It does not register height of image taken. One thing you could do is take a screen shot of the controller along with each image to record the altitude. It would be a pain though.
