I was given a DHI phantom 3 pro about 3-4 years ago....have NEVER FLOWN IT!!!SO WHAT I NEED IS DIRECTION ON HOW TO BRING IT UP TO DATE!????sorry for caps!!!!......i just got a mini mav my son bought me and him and then my brother(its his phantom3 pro) he flustrated at getting it air worthy firmware and soft ware......my first [post but want to get fixed for my brother!!!its registered. hoping will not be to difficult as its never flown but need to get right firmware etc...ty in advance and my apoligies for not knowing whee to post

Download DJI GO (the version for models before the P4) and not DJI PILOT.  DJI GO is available for both Android and IOS.  This app is what you use on a phone or tablet, attached to the transmitter, to setup and fly the Phantom 3.  Any yes, it handles firmware updates for the model as well.
