I just bought the Osmo Pocket a few weeks ago. I noticed that I can take RAW photos on the Osmo Pocket. But then when I look to it on my computer, the resolution was not 4000x3000 but 960x720 instead. Why is the RAW resolution is lower?

I guess you are using windows to check the resolution, it’s because windows can’t handle raw files natively so it just processes a thumbnail. Use a proper program like Lightroom.

Thanks a lot! I tried to import the photo into Lightroom and then exported it as JPG file, now Windows shows that as 4000x3000 resolution.

That was weird because before I bought Osmo Pocket, I was shooting RAW photos with my Nikon camera. When I open the properties of the file in Windows, it shows the full resolution.

A raw file is not an image format but an instruction set and can not be displayed in a picture viewer. What you see is a lower res JPEG embedded into the raw file unless opened in a dedicated editor where you see the instruction set implemented into an image ready for conversion. So I guess the JPEG image in the DJI raw files are smaller.
