It was.
But it was a good break from the daily stuff.
And yes, it forced me into spending more time with the fam.
That would have been something that would have happened if we would have been going on holiday, so they deserved that!

I was tied up with a massive project at work coupled with the late autumn/winter season and with the new drone laws coming into effect (registration) too it was way down on my list especially as the Inspire was my only drone and after carrying that suitcase around for months I'd had it - so stopped flying it in October and sold it (for more than I paid for it) in Dec.

Roll on to May 2020 and with Covid-19 and the release of the MA2 well - two-million feet, 88 flights in 16 different locations across southeast England and 36 flight hours later and without any crashes or incidents - I'm pleased to be back.

I can totally get that.
There are so many projects waiting for execution that I simply can't do them all.
I have more inspiration than I can chew and flying is not my main interest.
Capturing the world around me is  btw.
So whenever there is something to catch from the sky, I will take off again

I have several plans that I can offer :
1. Pay per MB raw material.
There is a risk of me leaving with the money and saying 'nothing could be edited to a final product'
2. Pay per minute finished product.
This is sort of 'no cure no pay' but in reality you agree to pay for whatever I render. Even when it is 10 minutes of black screen
3. Pay per minute of editing time.
I will document the exact render / edit  times with loggers.
Seems like a fair choice, but there is a catch. As an IT guy I can easily slow my machine down significantly, thus leaving you with a much higher invoice.
In fact, I even have a very old machine that I will use for these projects and I can let it run for days without holding me back on my regular work.

Just let me know which option seems to fit your situation best and I will give you a 50% discount on the rate of choice for that plan.
