Just experienced this the other day with almost potentially disastrous results.

I was flying my Micro Long Range on the beach, with a 3s pack.  I was keeping an eye on the voltage, I usually land at 11.0v.  Well, I go in for a low pass over the edge of the shore and the quad just drops...right into the surf zone.  I throttle up...nothing.  I can see a wave coming at the quad in the goggles, and run over to it...only to have the wave crash over it.  I pulled the battery, didn't get any smoke thankfully.  Rinsed with fresh water, dried it out in my filament drying chamber for a day and THANKFULLY it powered up without releasing any magic smoke and is fine.  I check the battery at home and see this:

So, not only was that hazardous to my quad, but it was also hazardous to my battery.  Anyone else experience similar nonsense?
