Just for statistics: my first quad, P3A + Nvidia Shield, Android DJI Pilot 1.1.0, FW 1.2.7 (no appreciable difference wrt 1.1.9), no video lag, easy FPV, in average a disconnection every 15 min, fast recover with a click, perfect video link up to 1.5 km (not tried farther).

I first thought oh this is laggy and i thought this must be low FPS material and then i saw that you wrote 25fps. Its interesting how much difference 30fps will give you. Im in a PAL country but in times of digital filming i dont see a reason why to use 25fps, it just look not so smooth during camera tilting. I think it is only important when you want to create a PAL DVD for PAL DVD player but even in this case im not sure if modern DVD players can also play NTSC. So i guess its only from importance when you plan to broadcast your stuff in TV : p

I hope ND filters and 1/50 sec exposure will solve the matter, just got ND filters yesterday.
The few times I was lucky to sell to TV, they were already scared by the difference between 24 and 25 fps...

yes but ND filters wont change the slow frame rate. They only give motion blur. I use 30 fps all the time with 2.7K and 4K

Here a similar compilation with ND16 gel filter by PhantomFilters, exp = 1/50 sec, PAL 25 fps 1080p, converted to 780p 30 fps for 60Hz pc screens: the filter works very well.
