I search for an hour to connect Ronin M to the Mac dji assistant using the supplied USB cable, but unfortunately it just doesn't want to connect.
i know it connect fine using the ios app, but i wanting to upgrade the firmware (mine is showing as 1.0)

the status bar on the bottom right is showing as red. Is it just me or the mac app isn't working?

I did download the latest Ronin Assistant Software v1.4[size=1em] from http://www.dji.com/product/ronin/download
1 Open the dji assistant
2 turn on before connecting the usb or after connecting the usb (didnt work either way)

Something that i missed?


Edit. I found out that i download the wrong ronin assistant software, intended for the original ronin. I was clicking the download link from the forum posts. now its all working fine.
