FYI, I was able to update from the Google Play store for my Motorola g7 Power in the USA last evening.  So it is trickling out... I have heard at least one report that it also makes it work with android 11 (not confirmed by me).

Haven't tried flying, but opening the App works again. That didn't work right after Android 11upgrade.

Now using local data option is possible to disable.
