Good morning,
I bought a drone mini 2, after connecting it to the controller and connected to it, the drone displayed in the application to download updates.  The update has reached 40% and has stopped.  Now error 30224 pops up and there is nothing you can do.  The drone does not connect to the controller and the update does not want to be downloaded further because the drone is not connected to the controller.  The error pops up on both the huawei p30 pro and samsung s8 smartphone

Hi, I have recently purchased a DJI Mavic Air 2S. I successfully set up the drone and did some test flights over the past couple days. I have just now tried to fly the drone but saw a message about the firmware being incompatable and that the drone was unable to takeoff. I went into Settings as prompted, clicked 'Check for Firmware Updates' and get an error message 'Server Error. Wait a moment and try again (Code:-8)'. I have restarted multiple times, restarted and updated my phone, changed batteries etc but nothing is working.Can you please explain what this is and how I can fix it asap? So frustrating! Thank you

Please try to delete the cache and use a different network and update again. If it is possible, please try to update the firmware by DJI Assistant 2. Please let me know if the issue persists.

I just had ths issue today while updating my dji app and firmware and had a mini freak out. After seeing the battery firmware thing mentioned in the first few replies, (didn't know dji gave their batteries their own firmware) I decided to hooked up my battery pack with all 3 batteries to my updated controller. After the battery pack blinked a few times, I tested the drone with all 3 batteries and the error was gone!

Thank you very much, after a couple of months without using my drone, today when i was trying to use my drone, i was facing these issue too. But i did what was on first answers, i clear cache, closed dji app, restart drone and the controller and turn on again / connect it and the issue was fixed

It is likely that the issue you described is caused by the Fly Safe database being updated on an earlier version of the DJI Fly app. As the previous app version is incompatible with the current database, the app will prompt an error message.

Same thing happened to me today. I simply installed a different battery, powered everything back up, flew for a couple minutes, then installed the original one back in. Problem solved.

Today I returned a Dji mini es with two motors not working. New in box faulty. Got a replacement and same problem.  I live a hour out of town now having to returned the product again.. all thanks to faulty motors. What's the point in buying these drones when I spent $40 + in gas to returned a defective product.

Hello there. I'm sorry about the inconvenience. Can you please try the notes below and see if it will help?
1. Ensure the previous firmware update is completed and successful;
2. Re-launch the App and check if there is a firmware update required as well.
3. Update it again while ensuring the network is available and the connection between the aircraft and the remote controller (and the mobile device) is stable;
4. Clear the cache in the  [profile] – [settings] – [clear cache] – [Clear App Cache]and retry the step 2.3;
5. After backing up related photos and videos using the app, uninstall the app, and then install it again. Mount and start up the aircraft and the remote controller. Then, connect it again
