In order to complete a ring-road around the large town of Chateau Gontier and a link road from the nearby town of Fromentieres, a crossing of the river Mayenne is necessary.
Late last year, I filmed the earthworks and first foundation diggings on both sides of the river. Last Sunday (ideal since work is at a standstill) I re-visited the site to document progress. Completion is still some way off (2022) and so I intend to periodically do further updates every six months or so until completion.

I can't imagine the conditions over there. It must be grim. TWO reasons to wear a face mask. Covid and ash fall-out.  Best of luck mate. ( Morning, Evening, it's all relative innit?    )
