With an area of 25.95 square kilometers, a water level of 176 meters, and a reservoir of 790 million tons, it was created in December 1988 when it blocked the Hwanggang River, a tributary of the Nakdong River, and built the Hapcheon Dam. The Hapcheon Dam, 96 meters high and 472 meters long, produces 234 million kilowatts of electricity annually. As the lake is rich in various fish species such as carp and catfish, it is considered a heavenly fishing spot, and the 40-kilometer-long lakeside road running along the lake and the mountainside is attracting attention as a new attraction for car travel.
Nearby, there is a comprehensive tourist destination with a swing, a Neolttwigi, a motorboat, a buckwheat flower complex, a folk flower complex, and a grass square, which is used as a natural learning center or family tourist destination. Nearby, there are many tourist attractions such as Hwangmaesan County Park, Hageum Valley, Hwanggye Falls, Yongmunjeong, and Haeinsa. In Hapcheon-eup or Geochang-eup, buses run every 30 minutes to Hapcheon Dam, and by car, it takes about 20 minutes from Hapcheon-eup to Namjeonggyo Bridge to Hapcheon Lake.
In Europe, the mountains and landscapes of Asia may attract more attention.
Actually, I would like to take pictures of vast and wide European landscapes.
Thanks for watching, Friend.
