i updated fly app and used the new zoom function several times. now all of a sudden it is no longer on my app screen at all. checked video mode, reset and reinstalled app....nothing. HELP! dji could not help after 2 calls and they were not even aware the air 2 could zoom now. total amatuer reps on their own product

You had zoom with the latest version and it disappeared by itself without doing anything?

i just got off chat with dji. the firmware is the latest and i used dji assistant and refreshed firmware to drone. i unistalled and reinstalled dji fly app. it still is gone. 4k mode 25fps and no zoom capability or option on screen at all

no 4k zoom mode avail..just hdr and 4k , and 1080. zoom is completely gone

Try to go back to 1.1.6 and if it works wait for the 1.1.9 is coming very soon

Connect with DJI ASSISTAND and you willcsee there an option to install a previous firmware

Sounds like it might be an isolated incident. I would hate to think that features could just disappear like that for everyone.

Like I said it worked fine when I first got update. It just isn't showing up anymore . And where do I get 1.1.9? Android play store only shows .8

Yeah but it still worked on .8 when i dl the updte. The zoom was there and now it isnt. Plus my app talks in a foreign lang sometimes. I unistalled, re installed on 2 dif devices one of being samsung s20 ultra, and its gone from both. I dont get it

Based on the orientation indicator arrow at the bottom center of the screen it is obvious you are using an old version of the DJI Fly app.  The current version is v1.2.4.  If you have an Android device you will need to manually download and install it which can be done from this link https://www.dji.com/downloads/djiapp/dji-fly.

To downgrade the firmware, you have to use DJI assistant for mavic and a computer as previously discussed in this thread.
