The second odd thing that has happened since updating the android pilot app to v.1.2.0 is the CUSTOM or AUTO feature for sellecting the channel in the 'Image Transmission Settings' menu is no longer available. The Channel/RSSi graph is there but no CUSTOM or AUTO choice. Any else got this problem with the new pilot app?

Apple version of app has Auto/Custom option. Unable to change image transmission quality due that!

Same problem here..(android user) another feature that i'm missing in the new 1.2.0. app version is the option to swith off the self adjusting landing gear.
It get's worse and worse. My frustration with dji gets bigger and bigger.

Ok - had the same problem on my iPad Air 2 - it seems to be a european problem. I went to my iPad change the region settings to USA - custom channels is activated again. Try it

Manual channel selection is deactivated in Europe because of local laws.

Ok but does it work within Europe? Do the channels hop and stay on the clearest channel?

what a daft idea, its not like the 32ch hack where you may be o/s permitted freqs
So I have to have my ipad on USA all the time, what  other features are local locked?

Although the hack seems like a nice workaround, maybe you guys should get together and try to get your local laws changed so you're not skirting it. It's better in the long run don't you think.
