My first video edited on the app. I think it is nice, but I need to learn a lot, like how to use the original files and not the cached ones.

I hope you enjoy!

We all have things to learn I guess.
It is definitely not bad for a first time.
Cache is indeed not the best way to start.
And I would avoid speeding up stuff unless you are really after that effect (usually with hyperlapses)
Take your time to tell a story to your viewers (us) and make your shots to document what you want to show 'us'.
The editing might be difficult if you have a lot to work with, but usually the max attention span is 2 - 3 minutes. (you are well below that now)
Unless there is something very interesting going on of course.
Slow, continuous moves usualy work best and remember that drone footage is usually b-roll or just an establishing shot for a reason. It gets boring quite quickly.

No its not. If you have a pc, turn the MM on then plug the drone into the pc with the charging cable. From there you can download your images onto the pc or computer.

You obviously had great fun recording this series of clips. Slow things down, don't speed them up. And yes, the data from the SD card will be far superior to the cached video.  Have fun!  Not a bad debut   Thanks for the share.

Excellent tips, everyone, I appreciate it.

For now, I'll use the DJI Fly app on Android to edit, but I am also able to get the files to my PC with a card reader, pretty simple.

Is there a trick to speed the download speed to Android, using the remote controller? I max out at 3MB/second, sometimes way slower than that. Maybe 3MB/sec is the maximum I can expect?

I'm about to post another video soon!

Thanks Friends!

I do it at home in Wi-Fi is not super fast so in my opinion there is no solution.

Not a bad video for a first time, i am not so sure on the music though, its not bad, just personal preference, but that is the headaches that we have to endure when trying to find some good music/score to go with the shots, i don't mean it in a negative way, just trying to give you some honest feedback about editing 'plus it is only my point of view, thats one of the parts that i dont like about editing, having to choose the music for the shot, it can be quite monotonous at times to be honest.
On a good note though, if you do nail the music, it can make a shoot really stand out amongst the crowd.

I have found with Photography and videography though that you are always learning and finding out new and better techniques.

These DJI forums are a good place to have a read through some of the threads and comments, there can be some right nuggets in the comments giving advice about the mavic and shooting and editing media in general.

Great video though
Peace Out
mark.
