Hey all, I've been wanting a smart controller for a while having owned a Mavic 2 Pro,

Almost 5 months ago when the air 2 came out dji promised compatability with the smart controller, so today I bit the bullet and assumed both my Mavic 2 Pro and air 2 would be compatable coming upto half a year later.

Yet when I powered it on, it's not, this is pretty poor DJI, so for now I need to carry around 2 controllers still, when will the air 2 update be rolled out?

Don't hold your breathe waiting.....Nothing official about when the MA2  will be compatible...

Never assume with DJI - when it will be ready is like asking how long is a piece of string. BTW have you activated your Mavic Air 2 yet as the icon is not showing in your profile?

Yes I have and I've flown about 40 flights with it, and my mini but I know that's not compatable

My profile should also show a MPP, Phantom 4 Pro and a 3?

probably just another unreliable source; however, the new deadline is sep 30th.

I laugh to stay sane..
good thing they got the advanced gimbal stuff working ( took  3-4 months...)
but  the thing that I have to laugh at is that they advertised Smart Controller support, that's what made me buy it at the announcement. Said it was coming soon... ( 2 weeks).. .
its funny.

I installed the DJI Fly app on the SC, but it would not connect to the MA2, only the M2 Pro.
keep laughing, it's good for the soul..
