Thank you.  I am in San Antonio now (past year) and it is a very different challenge for capturing footage--No expansive snow covered mountains

I feel fortunate to have been able to spend 12 years in Alaska--but life is a continuous adventure that takes us many places--there are things a miss about Alaska, but I am enjoying my new adventures.

You're most welcome.  San Antonio is definitely different from Alaska.  However, having said that I remember getting some scenic footage around Kerrville (about 1 hour drive from San Antonio) and also at Canyon Lake.  I'm sure you will find some great places to fly outside of the San Antonio metro area.  Good luck.

I got some good footage at Boerne Lake last January.  Kerrville and Bandera, Loredo, Corpus--all on the list.  I had sold my Inspire 2 when I left Alaska, and went with a Yuneec H520 here, but I am switching back to an Inspire 2--the camera is simply better.
