I bought my first drone at the end of August this year, to be honest, it was scary to launch for the first time, especially over the sea, you are remember your emotions during the first launch?

The original photo is of the best quality, I had to adjust to the forum restrictions!

Now you’re asking! I remember taking my Phantom 3 Professional on a weekend break to Wales with my family back in August 2016 and finished test flying it that week. I captured a -90 shot from 380’ AGL of a maze at a country estate where we were staying followed by some aerials of the mansion house and the surrounding valley - that’s the moment when I began to take the hobby seriously and realised the potential of what these drones can do.

As I understand it, there is no photo, or it is private and you don’t want to share it) I took my photo with my friend, we went together to an abandoned tower outside our city, there are beautiful views and a minimum of people)

And more than four years later I’m still as hooked as I was back then. I’ve flown more than a thousand flights now all over England, covering nearly 2,500 miles in flight distance with 12 different DJI drones from the Spark to the Inspire and the Phantom 4 Pro and nearly every Mavic in between. Never crashed or lost a DJI drone outdoors. These days I fly just the Mavic Air 2 which has slowly become my favourite drone of all time!

Purely recreational - I did consider getting a PfCO but let’s just say my normal profession pays more

In our country, there is a lot of competition until I bought a drone and began to be interested in it, I did not know that even in my small town there are enough drones) but I am not discouraged, I bought it for a hobby)

Its all about the practice.  

I remember my first drone flight very clearly - even though it was 4 years ago - so I know what you must have been feeling when your new purchase soared away into the sky for the first time.  Your picture is a nice first composition. Thanks for the share.
