My first attempt with my new Air 2. I have had drones for the last 5 years, mainly cheaper ones, leading up to a Spark last year, but decided to take a leap of faith and went for the air 2.

I am learning, and I realise that some turns were just to fast and didn't look good. I should have probably editted them out a bit but the clarity of the video amazed me! What a brilliant drone, but, always open to suggestions ;) Any pointers? (other than rapid awkward movements)?

Nice footage...
A few tips:
1. Make more soft moves with the drone...preferable tripod mode.
2. Choose the "star" from the clip...something that you want to be on podium...concentrate on it...can be the building, a taller tree, anything.
3. Cut scenes...make scenes of 5-7 seconds for static and 10-12 seconds for action....more than this will go the audience bored...you can use same thing but filmed from different positions...
4. Always adapt the speed to FPS...I recommend you to install on phone the RED Tools...will give you a good hint related to FPS versus speed...remember you have 24mm fixed AP. For start try to experiment 30FPS = 1/60 SS (you will need ND filter)...is a compromise for beginners...
5. Use D-Cine, Normal and HDR...see the differences and also decide what is better for you...but avoid HDR in low light, will create noise...a lot...
6. Try to use low altitude when filming...you will get a lot more "action" footage even in static scenes...
7. Until you can maneuver the drone very good, try to designate a "target" on screen (Poi or simple Track) and move...will help you concentrate on fly instead of moving the gimbal...is a good start until you get used with all...
More practice = closer to PRO...
