I just received this beautiful Galaxy Tab S 7 plus 12.4 inches today. And it fitted nicely and securely with the $10 tablet holder I used for the Tab S6. And the latest DJI Fly App 1.18 works on the S7 plus looking great with 120 hz refresh rate.

If you are like me, a neck strap is next on your buy list.

Hi there, how is the flying experience with a samsung tablet? i have a samsung phone and the experience is very bad, often losing connection with my mavic pro 1. i have an old ipad that works good without any problems but i would like to upgrade to a nicer screen like the tab s7. Is it a good idea? of course i will use it for other stuff other than flying but it is important that the conection with the controller/drone is reliable. thank you

So far it's working great with tab S7+, but I find it too big . Tab S7 maybe better. I still prefer using my S20 ultra.

I just tried to connect the aircraft to my Tab S7, and it gave me an error message saying, "Device Not Supported." Hearing that it works on the Tab S7+ gives me some hope. I can't see why it would work on the Tab S6 (like in many YouTube videos) and on the S7+ but not the S7.

I just scored a Tab S7 too, let me try it later. I don't see why it will not work.

Tab S7 working for me. Maybe your USB  C Cable is not compatible.

Hi, I am about to buy the Galaxy Tab S7 and before spending the money need to confirm compatibility withe my Mavic Air 2 and now the DJI Fly app 1.2.4 version.
While the Tab S7 is expensive, the screen size and brightness are important features as is the ability to simply remove the SD card from the drone and plug into the tablet. Moving the large video files by WiFi is a pain. From your comments the Tab S7 should be fine, is this correct?
Secondly, what adaptor do you recommend?

And Samsung USB-C to USB-C cable from my phone for connection. I think any good data USB-C to USB-C  cable will work.

Tab S7  amazing device and yes just plug in your Micro SD Card to transfer your files.

Waiting for mind.  i fly with a earlier Galaxy Tab s3 tablet and have had good luck with it even not being on the DJI approved list like all Samsung Tablets at least the Tab s's. Have you tried the Galaxy s21 Ultra yet with the Air2?

Already received my S21 ultra last week. I had connected S21 Utra to MA 2 without issue and just took off indoor. With all the snow and wind in my area still don't have the chance to fly it.

小仙女的星巴克 thinks for the update, I think I can say We're looking forward to your first outdoor flight with your s21 when your area weather lifts. I'll say it your a Samsung fan, also enjoy, thanks again for your pictures and sharing yours non listed Android flights along with others.

I can confirm the Mavic Air 2 works perfectly with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7. I upgraded to the Fly App 1.2.4. I did not experience any issues with the display or controls.

So great. I would like to buy the Tab S7 too with the air 2 ans Mini 2. So great to hear it works

You can use the S-pen even when it's out of battery. It still works, so battery life for the S-pen really doesn't matter unless you use those pen gestures

I just got the new S7 plus and I can't get it to work with the DJIFly app newest version from Google store I downloaded and installed.  I don't know what is preventing the tab from communicating with the controller!

Samsung Phones are really great for flying drones. I also love this combination as well.

I'm looking at a pro4 v2 a buddy has with smart controller but would like to use my Samsung tab s6. Do you know if that will work?
