I thought to start a thread on flying drones in Japan because it's such challenging thing with such a mixture of information.
Ever since some idiot landed a drone on the PMs house with radio active material there's been a HUGE crackdown on drone use.

Can I suggest folks share their knowledge and experience (good and bad) flying in Japan?
Generally It's obviously best to follow the drone maps use of airspace but, even still.... you just never know!

Actually I don't know.
It might be because of the browser.
Sometimes it does not recognize the URL because javascript is not working on that browser.
What are you using to view this forum?

While I'm at it... When viewing there is some sort of flicker on rails of bridge,,, what causes that?
Guessing that's why I got a thumbs down lol As hartbreaking as that is!..   (my first one..sigh)

thanks... was nervous going so low to river and tucking drone far back enough into trees to try and get good vantage...  
launching from a metal bridge like that wasn"t wise though and nearly lost drone to interference  alerts

You need to be really careful launching from anything metal or that might contain metal like concrete with metal in as it can mess with he compass,  usually in these places its better to hand launch.

You can't choose anything with this preview.
It is programmed in javascript
