If you follow this path down to the shoreline, and then carry straight on, it's only a 102-mile swim until you reach Eastbourne, England.
I chose the easy option and took the ferry

Haha yes, mine too. Most people wanting to swim the Channel do Calais to Dover, it's only 21 miles

Won't be long until we'll be able to fly drones across that distance

I remember flying my new Mavic 2 Pro over water for the first time at Hastings last February 2019 - the wind and gulls didn't help but glad I took the risk.

I remember seeing it on the BBC News. Massive achievement though the British army are now using drones to detect migrants on the English Channel trying to get into the country. That's the world we live in now!
