Though in an FCC area you should be able to double that - with more spotters

Im not sure what you mean brother. I ran the battery down to the last milisecond lol i couldnt have got much more than 17, 18 even if i dont run into the altitude issue that burnt up 5% and it started at 94% so prolly no more than 18,0000

Fly in lighter winds and you can get further - Dustin Dunnill hit 25,000 feet and came back too early

I had a contingency plan to land in the sand b4 crash. plus i would be in walking distance with eyes on the landing spot. I certainly wouldnt do it over water or in a neighborhood. Well... not anymore

ive always been able to live life at the edge of my seat and still be safer doing so than the average person is when theyre seriously trying hard not to make a mistake. Im not worried over so called fender benders going through life as long as i can avoid lifes big crashes ill stay ahead

in other words... i might crash more and lose more as im sure i have than most but some of those crashes and mistakes are contingencies that i thought of a better outcome overall. Not just the safty of my drone, if you know what i mean

yeah i seen this a couple years ago. Its the same one ive sharred and talked about a few times myself. I just didnt remember his name when you said it. But yeah thats round trip distance like i was asking. He only got like a 1/4 of a mile more than me. I wouldda had that Np if i hadnt have ran into that 5% drain at the altitude zone and I started out at 94%. Biggest question is he crashed?

This is with the new MA2 which he did in May this year mate. Love his range tests - he got over six miles with the Mavic 2 Pro a couple of years ago

Yeah thats pretty good. Ive also got some good distance with my MP1 they all have a slightly different antenna configuration set up.. Dont get me lying about exactly how any of that works, but definitely no where near 6 miles geez

Hi. Thank you for sharing this cool video you have created. Thank you for your valued support and happy flying.

I should have kept my antenna facing and connected to the drone on the way back just to make the fly back more pleasing to watch

Nahhh... once youve flow as much as i have you know the limits well. Even at 0%battery you have another munute or so b4 it would actually fall out of the sky. Itll go into force landing for a bit. But i will say the timing on that was perfect to the % countdown lol. Which is why i posted it cuz for people that dont know that it certainly looks exactly the way you reacted lol.  I came down from 200 ft early, at any point i could have lowered it down more and just land it. I was in physical sight of it that last 1/2 mile to be able safely land it at if the battery had drained faster than i expected like if the head wind had picked up speed on the way back. But trust me when i tell ya i was in complete control of what was going. I have well over 1000 flights under my belt with DJI drones. All that dead video transmission on the way back was because it was in RTH mode so i no longer needed to keep the remote facing the drone for it to continue on its way, only to transmit the video back

At 10% it will start decreasing motor speed by 50%. At like 7% it will go into auto landing mode and completly stop advancing forward and start lowering to self land UNLESS you override it by pushing forward and up sticks. You always have control of aircraft as long as motors are spinning unless the remote isnt connected and the motors wont stop spinning until a full minute+ past 0%. I could have safely landed at anytime at like 20 -25% cuz i could see it and underneath it with my physical eyes which is why i chose that spot where noone was. So i had a huge bumper and grace period all that way if i would have needed it and still another full minute that i didnt use. That minute of extra time past 0% is like a reserve tank for the batterry. So see,  not so nail biting when you understand whats going on an whats to come next and youve prepared for everything preflight.
