Got my Inspire 1 out of the closet, connected to tablet fine, did an update and ... you guessed it "bricked." Yes i have been going through almost every forum post with no success. I have used this controller say 5 times in its life span. normal power up i get  red light on the left with no connection to tablet.
Did the 4 button thing... (c1,c2, record and round dial pressed)  while powering off and while powering it on. still no connection to tablet.
tried
Step 1: Power on Master Remote Controller and Aircraft.
Step 2: Press the Linking button in the nose of the aircraft, as show in the file attached.
Step 3: On the Remote Controller, Press “C1” + “C2” + “Video Record”
Step 4: Then, press the “Camera Settings Dial”. A green indicator light indicates bind is successful.


don't know much about the .bin file did try putting on;
C1_FW_V01.03.0020.bin
and i tried
WM610_FW_V01.11.01.50.bin
yes, in the root with nothing else on the memory stick (usb type-A)


can't beleive that the usb port is bad, i must be missing something!




any help would be appreciated...
