Hey there


We have a M300 RTK, we get a Satellite Search Error from time to time during flight and If the the error comes up when it is on the ground the drone cannot take off


Has any experienced this and what is a possible solution?


The drone, remote and batteries are on the latest firmwhere

Sorry to read the trouble with the M300 RTK, may we confirm whether the error happens in every place? Please ensure you are flying in open areas without any obstruction. If it keeps prompting, could you please post a screenshot of the error message and your firmware version here for further analysis?

Sorry for the late response due to the Chinese National Day holiday, this error mainly is related to the flight environment, did you try different places to test?

We have tried different locations.

We have a fleet of the M300`s and we only get the error on this aircraft

No solution. Only response was that we need to change our flight location. We had the same issue with other aircrafts as well

Hi all, we are experiencing this also. We have multiple aircraft but only one gives us this issue, and it doesn't matter where we fly - it happens to this one aircraft very frequently.

Having this issue as well. Was in an open parking lot. Have flown at least 4 different M300s and this is the first time experiencing this.

Hey Mindy...when is DJI going to solve this problem.
I have flown the M300 from the exact same spot and nothing ever came up before, now the same message comes up no matter where i fly.

Whats the solution?? Try and respond and solve the issue before 2025???
Like most other errors DJI never seems to resolve, especially when it cost over $40 000 and then crashes and then who is to blame.

Has anyone solved this problem?
All three of our DJI M300 units had the same problem.

LOL you'd be hard pressed to find a location less subject to problems with observable satellites than those posted by the OP... Barring crazy constellation anomalies. But given the number of users reporting this issue it seems wildly disingenuous and a complete waste of time to ask the OP about whether he has a clear sky or has tried other locations...

Clearly the problem is something that did not exist previously and now prevents users from flying in locations they were able to before. It's NOT about the location. It's about the software/firmware.

Any update on this? Having the same issue on my m300 all of a sudden after the firmware update to v7. Downgraded back to v6 still no success. Please advice

I've never had this problem with my single M300, but think it's hilarious that the concept of "this error mainly is related to the flight environment, did you try different places to test?"

Are the GPS satellites going to hover in low earth orbit such that a different open field would give you better reception?

It looks an issue with the actual antenna, did you bring the unit for maintenance/inspection? It could be a faulty antenna.
