I don't think they have the resource mate and it is difficult to bring a legal case without clear evidence that the person behind the ID in social media was actually the one who recorded the footage. I recall Casey Neistat winning in his defence against the FAA on those very grounds. Having said that, I don't post videos

Usually it would be shown out as they couldn't prove who committed the offence.

We have had some cases where people were fined after the fact (via YT footage) so I'm not sure how they proved who was flying in those cases.

a. it is your drone
b. you have the flight logs on you phone
c. you posted on YT etc.
That should be enough

Some people film their faces preflight talking about their “How far can i fly my drone before i loose signal” plan. Then they fly the drone until they loose signal to the aircraft, usually WAY out of the line of sight. Then they monetize the youtube channel. Its hard to dodge a charge when they film their faces admitting to illegal activities, then they perform the activity all while being logged. Theres a dude in Kentucky i know that the FAA found his home address, name, etc. all from videos he posted.

But even so (here in NL) you will get a fine for speeding when your car is speeding. You will have to figure out yourself who was driving
