With most 360's I also make a little planet. This started as a 'by - product' but in fact I really like them now.
They make something unreal look real

Depending on the area you fly above the little planets might turn out boring.

You can always zoom in with the interactive versions of the 360's though. Although I find quite a lot of content rather boring I must say

Yeah, they are the best way to show the world I believe.
Hope DJI will release a 360 drone once.
One with enough resolution to make a good viewing experience on Google. (the current 360 cameras still lack in detail to compensate for the zoomed view Google offers with their viewer)

That’s why I do 360’s on my first flight - mainly to scan the whole area before composing on the follow up

Sometimes yes - I obviously review my footage and look at different angles so when I return I know where to place the drone. Sometimes it works other times, well, it's a waste of time but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

It did not work for me. But I never tried via the MP.
I want to be able to edit the individual images because it gives a much better end result.

For simply scanning areas I find the spheres stitched by the MA2 works fine and often share them on here with plenty of 'wows' in the comments

Yeah. That is true.
I like to edit the individual images before stitching them.
So I can get the most out of the MP.
So far I failed to get them to skypixel afterwards. But I might give it a go sometimes.

I use to do that but its very time consuming and I'm generally pleased with the results straight out of this drone.

I hardly do any editing with it. The M2P was a truly amazing drone but I had to edit everything to maximise the results. I guess that is the main reason the MA2 has become my all time favourite - it's just easy and on point.

It shows they have gotten much better in this regard.
Just like an iPhone (or high end Android) delivers very good images under most circumstances.
If you want to go all the way, you can get a little more out of a 'manual' process. But for most it is not worth it.

Very true - for recreational use the MA2 covers first base nicely but yes, if you want that perfect still you need to put the extra effort in post.

I'm not sure if M2P would be my choice right now.
Maybe M2Z because of the 'Z' that gives me options I never had with a fixed zoom lens.
But then again....
CE C1 is the real breaker for me.

I wouldn't get a new drone now mate (despite how much I rate the MA2). The M2's are over two years old. I'd wait and see what's around the corner.

It was hypothetically speaking indeed.
I will never (with my current knowledge) buy a new drone that is not CE C1 approved.
Not that I care about new features.
The MA2 ticks all my boxes.
So does the M2Z.
Except for the main one.
Am I going to be able to fly in more places that I want to fly.
Like industrial area's etc. etc.
Current law does not allow for that, but the new EASA rules give options that could be converted to laws that allow for that.
But you at least will need a CE C1 approved drone.

But until this is clear, I will hold my money and hope they are on time before the credits start expiring.

I bought two sets of 8 Inspire 1 props - had to search the internet high and low for them and they were the only ones I could find on page 9 I think of my search. I paid £20 for both sets still in sealed bags and DJI boxes.  sold them separately to my Inspire and got £100 for them - 500% profit
