Hi Guys, why is it that Australians pay more for DJI products that anyone else. e.g. Mavic Air 2 Fly More Combo, here in OZ is $1332 US , where in the "US' on line is $998 US. Can't be of Transport as we are closer than US .

Yes, this is why I converted it in US dollar in my post .   all most $400 US dollars  difference for same product !!!!!!!      Australia Dollars I paid $1855   Alex

Maybe they think the risk factor is higher with you crazy and wild Aussies....jk ;-)

What if you had ordered it from a distributor in the US?

It means an Aussie dollar is simply worth more than our currency.

Sorry ... it wasn't clear in your post with the US coming after the amount and on a different line.
Part of the issue will be different taxes across different countries.
But a bigger factor is a well known phenomenon that Aussies are charged more for all kinds of tech items, not just DJI drones.
A couple of examples:
iPhone 11
US699 or Au$1199 (=US$858)
Windows 10 Pro
US$199 or Au$339 (US$242)

Indonesia, MA2 Combo IDR 15.000.000 = USD 1.000

Don't feel bad mate, here in NZ it is $2099

It is because DJI have to pay the GST on the purchase, on your behalf.

If its like the UK its down to additional taxes.

If you buy direct from DJI, they charge you for the GST and pay it on your behalf.

If you know anybody in the states, get them to buy and ship to you.

where to you get that they ( DJI ) paid it on your behalf Geebax. I buy a lot of things from sellers. now price can included GST or Not, but in the end the buyer always pays in the end.  You have a nice day cheers Alex

Really?  It's not that hard.
Just think about it a little more.
All the pieces are there, you just have to put them together.
