Close behind where i live is a gravel road that follows the ridge along a hill line. Total distance is about 8km end to end.
My flight Home Point is about the midlle - my distance limit is set for 2.5 km
Picture of flight zone at bottom of this post. This area with the white road tracks is recently cleared plantation lands.

In the video clip below a truck is followed, first at higher altitude to allow LOS over soome distant hills for about 1km
After that the higher hill is passed and i can come back down to be able to follow the truck at lower altitudes.

Flown and filmed with an old original mavic pro and dji goggles.
The video was filmed at highest video resolution on an old mavic pro original (4k @ 24fps)
The video was edited with Video Maker android app from original footage from sd card from my drone.

Clear picture video using a simple android app has been my goal.
After years of trying other editing apps and programes, Video maker is the first app i have been able to be consitantly successfull with.

Some times when i fly i marvel at the amazing abilities of my drone to film in such high quality, to fly so high and so fast.
I marvel also how stable she flies in high wind and how responsive and how intelligent she is.

Mavic pro is amazing equipment.

shes been good to me.

Recently replaced the gimbal ribbon and the other cable as that was causing camera issues.
Got the parts and did replacement myself - went well and works perfectly again.

With the prices of newer drones in SA, sometimes it is better to keep the older ones in good shape.
