Hello,

I left the side port opened and put the Osmo Action into the pool for a few seconds last year. Result: it stopped to work and wasn't turn on anymore.

Today, almost one year later, I tried to turn it on and for my surprise it worked WITHOUT the battery with a USB cable charging it. Everything is working, but suddenly it shut down again (without the battery).

Now, I try to plug the USB power cable, it turns on, asks for reset the date, and shut down again after a few seconds.

My question is, should I send to DJI Japan to repair? Or should I buy a new battery and see if it works?

Hi there. Sorry for having issues with your Osmo Action's battery. I suggest trying it first if you have a friend or relative that has the same unit to borrow a battery and see if resolves the issue before purchasing a new one.
