I have a chance to buy a 2-year old P4 Pro in a seal box, thats never been open, my question is if the battery in the box is dead will DJI replace it under warranty if its bad.

Hi there, the warranty period for a product starts on the day such product is delivered, we will refer to the proof of purchase for the warranty service. If you cannot provide invoice or other valid proof of purchase, then the warranty period will start from 90 days after the shipping date that shows on the product.
