Battery level is shown properly as you can see in the picture ( 49%).

I have the signal indicator red (in fly app flight data center) as well after 119 update, despite the strong signal for the whole flight...

Not a huge problem anyway , it's only a icon bug when viewing the flight log inside the app.  If you upload your flight log in a place like airdata.com the RC signal is still registered in the log for you to view.

In 1.1.8 they have updated the RC , battery and Satellite graphics in the flight screen but they totally forgot to do the same for the flight logs  .

If you play with v1.1.6 a flight recorded with v 1.1.8 or .9 the RC signal is still missing, but if you play with 1.1.9 a flight recorded with 1.1.6 the RC signal is displayed. This cannot be explained by just an Icon problem.

Honestly, I think this goes into the category of "why do you care"?  Even in flight, that icon is essentially worthless.  It either shows full scale or gone - and there are better ways to tell that you lost signal (like the video freezing).  Pretty sure I have never seen that as anything except full scale - and I somewhat regularly fly until loss of signal.

It think if the software has an obvious bug, it should be fixed..   Some people may not care and perhaps do not use that as a sole indicator of signal strength.

I would NOT to want to rely on whether video stopped streaming to inform me of poor signal strength..

If logging can show declining or increasing strength of the signal as you fly, the on screen indicator should also be able to give an accurate display of current signal strength.

Dabbling in the software development community, I know they/we treat something like that as a red flag. If something that is obvious to see is defective, what else is defective that is not apparent?

I have noticed the same. When updated to 1.1.10 the icon started to be white again.
When the icon shows red, it should means that your connection between RC and drone has poor signal.
This is good to prevent issues when you are flying and decide to bring  the MM home ASAP when you have a red icon.
This is valid for GPS signal, RC signal and video signal I think.
