It is nice to check out where you grew up from time-to-time - brings back a lot of memories. Though I live hundreds of miles away from there these days so not something I do often

I have moved back to my hometown about 13 years ago.

Much better because it is somewhat in the middle of NL and I'm (used to be before Covid) on the road a lot.
Plus we have most of our fam and friends here
